"Overall, a very disappointing place. There is serious hygiene issue here and the place needs major care. The place was in no condition to receive any guests - kitchen appliances in horrific state and oven exhaust covered with thick layer of grime plus hundreds of small dead bugs. The kitchen area is not the only place with issues. Please do not stay here, the photos on the web may look nice but they are outdated photos. The owner of the property is irresponsible for renting this place out....

"Hide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields. Hide is what makes this hotel such a pleasant place to stay. Thanks Hide, we loved staying with you!"

"Roof top onsen was outstanding. Staff very friendly. Great service. Room view excellent, but some items on dresser not very clean and lamp was broken with exposed wires. Dinner and breakfast good variety but not the best quality. Many dishes were on "hot" plates that didn't really keep the food hot, so when I got back to the table, it was too cold to eat (such as pasta). Overall good relaxing stay, but not 5 stars."
