"The owners were very friendly; greeting you on arrival and showing you to your room, which was comfortable, clean and tidy. It had a decent view over Torquay, not the see but the town itself, quite a pretty place to look out at. Parking area is small but plenty adequate if you take time and care to go into a space. The bed was made daily (something most hotels don't do now) and a nice touch was the bottle of water by the bed in case you needed a drink in the night. Plenty of storage to pack...

"The guesthouse is very conveniently located across the road from Torre Station which has an excellent service along the riviera. The guesthouse itself is very well decorated, extremely clean and the people who run it can’t do enough to help, even making us bacon sandwiches on our last morning to take with us as we were catching on early train.
