「It was our family holiday to travel around New Zealand from overseas. We booked two bedrooms in Marakura Deluxe Motel, Te Anau for 1 night so as to take Milford Sound cruise next day. It was a nice spacious ground floor 2 bed room with beautiful lake view, the kitchen is fully equipped, the parking space is just next to the building. However, after we Checked-out, we received an email telling us the bucket inside the rubbish bin was missing, asked us where the bucket was. Otherwise, the hotel...

「We spent a very comfortable night in a converted railway carriage which was quirky and a lot of fun. The carriage had pretty much everything you could require including a claw foot bath and a fabulous view of the distant snow covered mountains. Breakfast was provided and was served in the main building. A couple of things do need attention though, firstly the Wi-Fi signal which was too weak to function efficiently and secondly there was a broken window pane above the bed. 」
