「Initially had issues with the AC not cooling. After 2.5 hours, the kind desk clerk, Katy, moved us to a different room—perfect. Bellman Herbert was super friendly and helpful. Love the historic, older aspects of the hotel. Had a river room view which was awesome! 」

「This was a very professionally staffed and maintained hotel. We had a great visit and were very comfortable! Being on that access road, it seems inconvenient at first, but once you learn the route it's fine and really is a good location.」

「This was a beautiful property! Next door to the pool where we had a swim meet. Breakfast was fantastic! Lots of choices. Very close to all kinds of other entertainments as well. We will definitely consider the Renaissance the next time we are in Baton Rouge!」

「It was a 2-night stay. Staff was very helpful. My room was right off the highway, which may be distracting for some. However, we are from the city so it actually didn’t bother us. They do provide earplugs and QR codes to sleep apps. There are plenty of places to eat if you do not want to eat in the hotel. I did not get a chance to experience the pool and fitness center as I was very busy. Next time, I’ll make sure to schedule some “me” time in. If I’m ever back in Baton Rouge, I will stay there....

「We were traveling as a family from Texas to Florida and pulled in to Baton Rouge for the night. The first room we got was nice but it says it slept 5 (5th person on a couch, not a pull out) and it was NOT a couch. So I went back downstairs and they made it right by moving us to a king suite. That had a pull out couch that 2 of our kids slept on and the suite was big enough to pull in a cot. First surprise- the cot is a full size and thickness twin bed on a specialized dolly frame. 「Watermark is a lovely oasis in downtown Baton Rouge. The staff is top notch—friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was great and had a good kids menu. Would definitely stay here again for a future trip. 」

「Overall this property was acceptable, the hotel should spend some money updating the bathrooms. The room had old chalking around the bathtub & stool which made the room look cheap. Easy fixes could make this review a 5 star. Thanks…」
