"This was booked as a private Villa with its own private pool, however we were disturbed by the owner entering the villa without being invited in which was very unnerving, especially when you open your bedroom curtains to find the owner outside your patio doors looking in. However, this is a fantastic villa and we had a really enjoyable relaxing stay. "

"Had an absolutely wonderful time at Bondalem Beach Club. The staff was amazing and did everything they could to make sure my stay was a joy. So much so, they climbed a tree to get me a fresh coconut. The rooms are spacious, welcoming and beautiful. The pools are spectacular. The sunrises/sunsets from my room’s patio were a dream. I highly recommend BBC if you need a quiet, beautiful and relaxing getaway. "

"Summary We'd recommend the Bamboo house for one night specifically to the do the hike only. Go for the cheapest room. We booked two nights at the bamboo house, via Hotels.com, with the idea of hiking Mount Batur. Presumably like many other people visiting the area. We booked the king size deluxe room, the one with the triangular bamboo ceiling/roof, which was twice the price of a standard room. When we arrived we were shown to a standard room. "Very friendly helpful staff. The grounds and casitas are nice and the views of the lake and volcano are really nice. Of course, the flies are incessant in the morning. They seem to fade away in the afternoon and evening. The hotel is a short drive to the start of Mt Batur hike and you can hire a guide at this hotel. Highly recommend the hike. I have the four stars only because of the flies which isn't the fault of the hotel but if the nearby businesses can come up with a solution, that would be...

"Toilet broken, shower very little pressure but we had hot water, bed were comfy, no air conditioning, no fan Safe not working Nice hot spring pool but they filled it up only one night. Breakfast was ok. Served in the garden but thousand of flies… Will not recommend "

"If you are searching for total isolation, this villa is right up your alley. There are no taxi services and no restaurants other than the villa’s which has limited meal options. The villa is located in a farming and very poor part of Bali. The flies are constant which makes sitting outside uncomfortable. For meals, we ate in our room so as to elude them. We had three nights booked but only stayed for two."

"Stay here if you want a relaxing visit near Ubud. Takes an hour and half from the airport and 30ish minutes from the center of Ubud without traffic. The grounds are beautiful. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, ordered a la carte. I had dinner onsite and ordered room service as well. Both meals were delicious and the presentation was beautiful. They offer complimentary tea and small bites in the afternoon. That was enjoyable. I stayed in a room overlooking the smaller pool. The room was basic, but had everything I needed. The only negative was that my room was near the housekeeper room and I could hear them go and out often but I was rarely in my room. I would highly recommend this place and come back and stay in their villas. "

"The staff is really attentive to ALL of your needs. All staff was professional and if they didn't have the answer they were eager to get it for you. Lia, Warwan, Dewa, Risky, and Wendhi, are what make this property a truly mesmerizing experience for your trip. They go above and beyond providing you with exemplary customer service. These 5 people make this proerty what it is. Very clean rooms, and property. The restaurants provide a wide array of choices and the views are to die for. We definitely will be returning. "

"We had the most amazing time at Hanging Gardens of Bali. It's a stunning location with friendly staff, incredible food, and beautiful views. We were welcomed with marigold garlands and drinks, and the service was exceptional. We also tried the spa services, and the massage and bath were both relaxing and unique. This is a must-visit place to stay in Ubud, and I highly recommend it!"
