"The best feature of this hotel was its low cost for great service. The lobby’s decor is quite dated but was clean. The rooms could use better lighting and quieter HVAC, but the beds were comfortable. The free breakfast was pretty average. Overall, it’s great for an overnight rest stop, but wouldn’t be my first choice for a vacation stay."

"This hotel is walking distance to everything we come for. That means no parking hassles. The place is clean, front office staff are polite and helpful, there is a nice breakfast with a wonderfully quirly kitchen manager. We only hope to be as spunky as she is when we get to her age."

"Very nice, except for the bathroom in our room. Had to take the lid off the toilet tank to untangle the flapper to stop the water running. The toilet itself was ridiculously low (i.e., cheap), it should be ADA height. Bathroom fan was ineffective and incredibly noisy. A little more money spent during the last remodel would have made a huge difference."

"I have stayed at Compass multiple times, and I will stay again. It is busy in summer with a ball field near by and tournaments so book early."
