"The Wellmarin Hotel is a lovely hotel, with great access to Lake Balaton. We have no complaints other than that there is very little English spoke at the front desk, and we did not feel very welcome, in comparison to the rest of the hotels we stayed at in Europe. There was a gentleman who worked the evening shift who did go above and beyond for us. We were thankful for him."

"The location of this Hotel is good for enjoying lake Balaton. There is a very expensive and a free beachfront that is in walk-in distance. The breakfast and the dinner is served in the hotel’s restaurant and both the food and the service is good. We had a second floor room without elevator. We had heavy luggages which we had to carry to the second floor without any help from the hotel. The room had a nice view. The room was clean but the make up of the beds were sloppy and we did not have enough...

"This accomadation was truly unique in that it gave direct easy access to the Balaton lake and also the main road with easy parking. It felt like home away from home with wonderful kitchen, incredible shower (often rare in Europe) and cozy amenities such as a swedish dry sauna and large screen TVs. The picnic basket breakfast were a special touch and complimentary use of the bikes was wonderful A great value overall and i would stay again... and again."
