「Room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was a lovely setting and good food. The pool and spa facilities were nice.」

「The place has become tired. The bar staff are poor - not interested in keeping the place tidy. Old food on tables for a long time and when not busy, they spend their time in the “back”. As for the prices!」

「The old house hotel was delightful. Good size dining room with lots of period features. The room was a good size, well appointed and freshly painted. The hall had new carpet. However the accommodation wing had hints of 1970s with roof tiled halls , diy tiled bathroom ( dangerously sharp edges), dated furniture and an uncomfortable bed with people shaped hollows. Excellent service and a fine dining experience was a highlight. 」
