Holiday Park Resorts in Sweden

"Very simple accommodation, check in restricted to 3-5pm (after which it closes) and zero WiFi signal. Bathroom was very basic and we had to put the sheets on ourselves. At the end of the stay they had to be removed, everything washed up and rubbish taken away. I'm not against this concept, but not for 700kr a night, out of season. This also wasn't made obvious when booking. For an extra 200-300kr you can stay in a decent hotel, including breakfast which made this very poor value in comparison....

"Was very easy to find off the main road, yet was out of the way so was nice and quiet. Room was compact but had everything I need. Would be nice to go back in the summer, this was just a business overnight stop. Tv only had one channel which was a bit disappointing especially as the listing showed lots, but didn't matter too much Parking for a large van was easy"

"First Camp Malmo is perfect for families. We stayed in one of the cabins. It was tiny, but so cute, all the amenities we needed - except sheets, pillow cases (we had to buy those at the Lidl nearby, but would have been easier to rent at the front desk had we not arrived after hours.) We loved the mini golf and the skateboard park across the field. Cool to see the Oresund Bridge in the background as well!"

"Stayed in a cabin for a winter adventure with my son. The setting is stunning and the cabins are cosy. Remote enough to enjoy walks through the snowy forest but easily connected to the shops and central Luleå by a regular bus. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Aurora River Camp. Tony was an excellent host, picking us up from the bus stop, allowing us time to do groceries, and dropping us at the airport at the end of our stay. He even went out of his way to pickup a local Swedish vinegar that my husband wanted to try but had been unable to find. The property itself was extremely peaceful and serene. We had an igloo right on the river and it was a wonderful experience. Would recommend!"

"Vi bodde i campingstuga som var väldigt trång, luktade inpyrd rök och rummens väggar var fullt med kondens på morgonen, så det rann på väggarna. Allt detta till priset av 2300:-/natt. Skamligt!"
