It's an older building so you do hear things, and it could use a bit of updating but the staff were lovely, the building had character, there was a restaurant and bar. 2 busloads of tourists were staying, and they had bagpipers entertaining and a 3-piece band in the lounge. My daughter and I enjoyed our night here.

Unfortunately for us there was a wedding so hotel guests had to use a separate room for dining etc. This room was cold and few other guests said the same. We were on the second floor but the music from downstairs was loud plus we had a floodlight that lit our room up, overall disappointing.

Lovely hotel, lovely view.
Lovely hotel, clean room, bathroom was beautiful. Gorgeous view from Mountain View room. Breakfast was very good. Only slight flaw was the floors were quite creeky, so often hear folk moving around, that said we weren’t woken in the night due to any loud noises and there was a wedding on that evening. Would stay again.
