"This hotel is a gem! It may not have the name brand that people look for, but certainly has the 5 star amenities! Comfortable bed, great sheets and pillows. A small fridge with a freezer. Blackout curtains. Cold a/c. Many outlets and usb outlets. Direct tv. Good water pressure and lasting hot water. Great bath towels and bath mat. A magnifying mirror that thrilled my wife! We travel a lot, and this is one of the cleanest hotels we've stayed in!! No build up along the baseboards and no mold in the tub. The entire hotel is pristine! Kudos to the cleaning staff! We will definitely stay here when we come back! Oh…the breakfast buffet is continental style, but good quality. And they have one of those fancy coffee dispensers that make cappucino and lattes"

"Iiked it all. The room lovely. Historical Hotel dating back to 1766. Most of decor beautiful period pieces. Original art work and hand written documentation preserved and in display. Tavern, cocktails,and Julia bartender was great. Lamb Shank Dinner a classic onion soup delicious. "

"We stayed here one night while passing through the area. The hotel is nice. Our room was warm and inviting and had a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom with great water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was very good checking in and out was easy. Highly recommend staying here."

"Hiram was excellent. Not within walking distance to any restaurants or bars. Did have drinks at hotel bar. Happy hour was fine but bartender did not let us know happy hour was ending and beers doubled in price. "
