「Alongside the A1 but you would never know, so quiet. Convenient back road into Bamburgh and loveky view across farmland. Breakfast was excellent cereals, fruit juice, toast and jams. 2 sausages, 2 bacon, beans, hash browns and choice of how your eggs cooked. Also ate in the restaurant and cafe both excellent. Room was clean, tea coffee and good shower. Stayed four nights, couldn't fault it. Staff really nice. 」

「We stayed here for two nights to attend a nearby wedding. The accommodation was lovely. Large spacious room, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Carolyn was very welcoming and went out of her way to ensure we had a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.」

「The welcome was was warm and the room large and clean. We had dinner in the restaurant the first night and it was delicious with impeccable service. We had breakfast on two mornings, again food was very good. Two small criticisms from our stay was that the bed/mattress was very firm but this is about personal taste so may be fine for others! We spoke to reception and while they couldn’t offer a different room they did provide a mattress topper which resolved the issue and we were happy with...

「A lovely 2 night stay in a country village inn with plenty of parking. We loved the location, our room was clean with a comfy bed, the staff were welcoming and friendly and the food was of good quality. Great for exploring the Northumberland coast, particularly Lindisfarne, Berwick Upon Tweed and Bamburgh Castle - all close by. 」
