Split Marina is a luxurious, well-kept marina west of Split’s attractive old town. Rent a deluxe vessel for a leisurely excursion or celebration of a special event or stop at the marina to marvel at the impressive vessels docked at the shore.
This is one of 22 Croatian marinas that fall under the umbrella of Adriatic Croatia International (ACI) Club. It has 355 berths and can accommodate large mega yachts. Reserve a berth for your vessel or stroll around the marina area to check out the sophisticated yachts that are parked in the harbor.
For a lavish day out, charter a yacht or catamaran here at the marina and spend a day visiting nearby islands or basking in the sun on the deck. Enlist the services of an experienced captain or, providing you have the necessary qualifications, take the helm yourself. From out on the Adriatic Sea, enjoy a different perspective of the glimmering waters, rugged coastline and green peaks of Marjan peninsula next to Split.
For a bit of leisure-time education, enroll in sailing classes at the marina, where you will learn the ways of seafaring from experienced instructors. Back on dry ground, visit the shop on the marina and browse nautical souvenirs and sailing merchandise.
Stop at the snack bar or restaurant for something to eat or bring a picnic and sit in the pleasant Sustipan Park, adjacent to the marina. This pretty green space overlooks the Adriatic Sea and is dotted with pines that provide ample shade. Plan some time to explore the ruins of a medieval Benedictine monastery here. To find quiet beaches, continue west from the marina toward the Marjan Peninsula.
Split Marina is located in the southwest part of the city harbor. To get here, take a short stroll from Diocletian’s Palace. It is about 5 minutes away on foot.
