"We stayed at the villa 2 nights on a whirlwind trip to Puglia. The villa is located in The San Giorgio neighborhood of Bari and is a welcome sight once the heavy gate at its entrance is opened. The hostess was most gracious and accomodating, the room by the pool with en suite bathroom is meticulously appointed in good taste. If there is a drawback, is the fact that breakfast is not included. Given that, the price then is a bit high."

"The staff was so nice and helpful. The room was very comfortable. An unexpected bonus was the little bar and restaurant. The bar was a cozy place for a drink before going out to dinner. The breakfast buffet was really good with a nice selection of options. We even had a salad on our way out that was also good. A very nice stay in a charming town."

"To start off the host Donatello was amazing, he is very attentive and very helpful. He went above and beyond during my whole stay. The room is spacious and very clean. The location is great because it was very close to the train station which allowed me to travel to other puglia cities very easily. Thank you Donatello for making my stay in Bari so great. "

"Very central and convenient to visit on foot the old city as well as the more recent parts of town, including the central station. The flip side is that the area is busy and noisy, but safe. The property is very clean, in a well maintained building, the host is responsive and courteous, the breakfast provided in a pleasant nearby cafe. Guests in other rooms were noisy at times, but this is out of the control of the host. Overall, I was pleased with my 1 night stay."

The property is very near the seawall and in the old town and so you expect it to not be sparkling new. We found it easy to walk to sites both in the old section and new, loved being in an area...

"We spent 3 really relaxing days in Bari. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and in a really great location in the city. We moved around the city on foot very easily. In the surrounding area, just a few minutes walk away, there are excellent places to eat (we highly recommend the nearby panzerotteria). "We had a great stay. It is comfortable and quiet place. The breakfast is very good. Staff at the reception and Restaurant are polite and friendly. I would definetely stay here again. It would have been nice to be able to eat at the Restaurant, however we are not late evening eaters, so we had to pass that because of the late Restaurant hours. Also it would have been nice to be able to enjoy the pool a little longer than 7pm., as they close for evening pretty early. All in all a very place to spend some time off and visit the Bari area and Alberobello, a must see little town."
