「We were attending a reunion dinner in Hitchin and did not want to be driving home late so we arranged to stay in town. We were therefore only staying for sleep and breakfast. The beds themselves were comfortable but the radiator in the room was not working which made for a cold night, especially as the windows were not double glazed. Breakfast was included and was excellent, with any combinaton of buffet and cooked items.」

「Had a great stay at The Embankment! Was met by the very enthusiastic Bethany who made check in a real pleasure and gave us some local recommendations which turned out to be fantastic! Room was clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee was of a high standard, as we're the biscuits! Bar area had a really good vibe and all staff we met/viewed were friendly and professional.
