Room was dusty. This property has misleading prices and would be careful of booking here. I stayed at the same hotel last year and I paid the correct resort fee which was shown in Expedia but this year they upcharged on the resort fee shown by saying there is a parking fee.

The hotel look nice but the service really bad. When we book they told us very day room service we stayed 5 nights and we got only one time room cleaning and we need to go and ask for that. The barroom is no private if you travel with kids or with another friends. The bad room door lock wasn’t working and the little window they have between restroom and room didn’t have locks.

Won’t return. Don’t book. This should change to a 2 star. Property is very old. Room floor full of animal furs. It is not maintained. Only one restaurant which is super expensive. Poor staff that are looking for any way to rip you off, don’t give food credit if you don’t specifically ask. Charge parking and resort fee automatically. Lobby is very small and not convenient. Hallways look like a maze. I was on 2nd floor and the noise of neighboring and upstairs was easily being heard. Hard to sleep. They charge ~$70/night resort fee in “winter” for beach access which is just $15 for public lol There are other options, like 4 star hotels on HWY 50 that are much less expensive with much higher quality and closer to all the actions.

Every associate from bellman to check in were extremely friendly and courteous. A little disappointed at the $65 a night resort fee and &30 a night parking fee. Seems excessive. Room was spacious and comfortable except for lighting. There were four lights out in the room.

I selected a "lakeview" room and was thrilled by the exquisite view of Lake Tahoe from my third-story balcony. I was able to watch the sunrise and sunset each day. Room service was very good and promptly delivered, and dinner at Jimmy's was excellent. I received exceptional service at the spa as well. The front desk service was mediocre compared to the rest of the hotel. I expected to be asked about my stay upon checkout; instead, I received the impression that the person didn't care about my experience. That was disappointing, but I'd still recommend The Landing for its restaurant, views, comfort, and amenities.
