「The location was great, but the mattress was too soft for us. the heater a bit old, was leakage outside the doorways and noisy too.」

「An older property but clean and tidy. The steps leading upstairs to apartment are rather steep and narrow so extra care is needed traversing up and down. There is a safety gate at the top but doesn’t latch. Bed comfortable but traffic noise problematic」

「An amazing location so very close to a central lift but with that came lots of noise from the pub downstairs when you wanted to chill after a day on the slopes. Unreliable wifi prohibited streaming anything on TV and requests to staff for assistance always received the same response ‘I’ll phone the manager and call you back’ rather than a resolution. Disappointing experience given the price. 」

「I am a falls creek regular for the snow season. This was the first time I tried the elk after seeing it many times and regularly having dinner there. Unfortunately the accomodation is poor. The room we had, apartment 10 seems good when you first arrive, the layout and features are fresh and modern. However functionality not so much. We had a large bed, mind you two singles pushed together with a sheet over it; plonked in the centre of the room, good luck trying to walk around the side of it. The...
