Independent Sherman Heights hotels

"It is a beautiful family run hotel. Clean with paid parking and a beautiful view. The 24 hour lounge was lovely as was the pool. The staff was attentive and the elevators face the reception desk so I felt quite safe. They even provided loaner umbrellas! The pass for a local gym is included and easily walkable. The guest upstairs unfortunately drove us away early because he was live streaming in the middle of the night and slamming the balcony door. "

"We very much enjoyed the location. Beautiful grounds and quiet. Room size was great with a comfortable bed. Found a bike rental place (third party) down at the dock. Fair price for a cruiser bike and we were able to store the bikes overnight at the front desk. Aside from the gentleman who checked us in (name?) the front desk staff we interacted with seemed too formal, almost unfriendly."

"Great place to stay for a family vacation. Only issue was the property is pretty run down and housecleaning service was not up to par. When we got to our room, there was someone else's drink in the fridge, shampoo bottle was empty, and room didn't feel clean. Also be aware there is a $45/day resort fee that Expedia does not tell you about."
