"We arrived at 16.30 checkin was quick and i went to the room my husband went to make a reservation for dinner.The room was very tastefully decorated but no heating on,as it was Febuary it would have been nice to walk into a warm room.We were only able to book for 21.00 which was far too late when we had lunch at 13.00.We were not able to order our choice on the menu as they had sold out sausage and mash and fish and chips nothing special maybe defrost a few more. "I stayed in one the cottages and it was super; clean, cosy & warm and designed to a high standard. The private garden a great addition. The restaurant and food is good quality and I thought priced reasonably. Chilham is a pretty village and the White Horse Inn is also super for a drink with the locals. Canterbury is a short drive, or train journey so a great place if you want to visit the city but be in the country. I loved it. "

Due to the location of the hotel I think this is definitely more of a seasonal hotel, however this didn’t impact my opinion of it, the service was great, room was lovely and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was incredible!
