We had an enjoyable 2 night stay at the Marqueen in March 2025. We loved the historic building which was newly renovated but still held a very cool, retro vibe. Our room was gorgeous, spacious, beds super comfortable and had everything we needed. The bathroom had many surfaces to lay cosmetic bags and toiletries, which I especially appreciate when traveling as a family of 4. The lady at the front desk (Kennedy) was amazing. So friendly and sweet, welcomed us every time we walked in the door like we were coming home.
The hotel location is fantastic with grocery stores, pharmacy, cafes, restaurants and transit and Seattle Center all walkable.
The only negative would be the location of our room specifically. We had #209 (2nd floor, on the rear of the bldg) with a window that looked out onto a brick wall. It was painted a nice colour with a pretend window so it wasn't ugly but to see the sky you had to stand right at the window and look up to see a sliver of it. We only stayed in the room to sleep so it didn't bother us that much, but if a view (any view) is important to you, this might be a problem. Also, our second night was rainy and there was a constant heavy stream of water pouring onto some hollow metal or plastic surface outside the window which was quite loud. In a rainy city like Seattle, this could also be a problem if sounds bother you while sleeping. Also, no elevators.
All in all, we did really loved our stay at the Marqueen and would stay there again.
