"Fantastic location in the Pyynikki lakeside and national park area, just a short trip from Tampere city centre. We were warmly welcomed with our dogs. The room was very clean with a fully functioning kitchen, a washing machine and a nice balcony. Breakfast was good, better on the weekend than weekday morning. The only minus was the beds - one thin pillow per person didn't provide enough comfort. And there were no bin bags in the kitchen."

"Beautiful room and common areas. Dinner was excellent, great breakfast. Staff were very attentive. The rooftop sauna with city views was a great way to relax at the end of the day. Sami music playing in my room really when I arrived set the tone as did the pine scented soaps. "

It’s more like a hostel

"Location was great right next to the train station. However, despite I called the day before and confirmed I could store my bag when I arrive early, when I got to the hotel, the intercom respondent said no. And it also disconnected three times before I gave up and went back to the station to use the locker. Had I been told no when I called night before, I wouldn’t have waisted my time trying to get to the hotel but just used the locker. Also, I didn’t realize the room had no shower. Fortunately I went to sauna but otherwise it wouldn’t have been nice. Breakfast however was wonderful and the receptionist was friendly "
