I chose this place because it was rated above 8 and said "very good".
Pros- The room had been recently renovated. The shower was large and new looking. The cable tv worked well. Bathroom was nice and new.
Cons-I stood in the office for more than 5 minutes and rang the bell 4x before anyone showed up. Not much seating in the room. Just one larger chair and two bar stool type chairs. Not very comfortable.
As soon as we got to the room, my wife turned on a lamp and the shade and light bulb/socket almost came off. We called in the attendant, and she said they were having lots of issues with them. The room is very small, but I knew that. There are no drinking glasses. Just 2 cheap "throw away" plastic cups. The ice bucket was a cheap small plastic one. Weird light fixtures on the wall. The room was quite warm when we entered, and the ac didn't come on after lowering the temp for 20 mins. No screen on the sliding door. Would be nice.
The kicker for me was we came here because it was pet friendly. I never saw anything about a pet fee when I booked (Expedia) I told the girl I was surprised by this and asked her to show me where was written. It took her 2 minutes to find it but there it was. So bad on my part. It would be nice if it was right there next to the words "pet friendly. So I had to pay $50/pet, PER NIGHT! And, they add sales tax to that.
So a $150 room ended up costing me $262. I learned a good lesson. But I will not stay here ever again. Be sure to shop around!
