"I had a wonderful week in the heart of Gaslamp. The staff was really kind and provided good service. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, however it could do with a couple of protein options. The location of the hostel is perfect for exploring most of the iconic parts of the city. I hope to be back once again!"

"The chocolat chip pancakes peanut butter in the morning were a real treat. Old fashioned almost wild west decor. Nice hangout lounge. Good wifi. Bathroom facilities minimal. "Very spacious and well maintained property - although lounge/living areas quite dark without windows - but excellent level of equipment in kitchen and all very clean. It was near-impossible find out if luggage could be left early or with a concierge (on arrival) - and it should be made clear BEFORE booking that you’ll have to use bounce.com - also on the day of checking out if you need to leave luggage. No problem with noise from bars or restaurants below - and terrific area to stay in, "
