Attempted to contact the property of course were unsuccessful. No notice, no refund. Further research showed the property was actually sold last year to the city and is no longer a hotel. "Cool older historic property, but smack dab in the middle of condos and townhomes etc. there’s a nice public park in front of the property you can walk around but there was also a homeless encampment across the road from the park. The room was nice but bed was a bit hard, our TV in the bedroom didn’t work (not a huge deal for us though since the one in the living area worked). "We were happy to get a reservation here for our one night stay. The staff and the breakfast were both very good. The only negative thing was the BLEACH. The smell of chlorine was quite powerful when we entered our room. There was so much bleach in the bed sheets that my skin was getting itchy and burny. Same thing with my eyes.
