The heat went out two days before we arrived. We were offered a free cancellation. However, this was unhelpful. I booked this hotel two months before our stay to want to avoid an expensive hotel room and a last-minute decision. We looked at hotel prices around the area after we were notified however they were significantly more expensive than what we initially paid. It was ridiculously cold so we ended up purchasing a heated blanket. An offer of a partial refund should have been suggested by the hotel. But it was not so we paid full price the price of a heated blanket for a very cold hotel room. Also, from our second to last night our room kept getting whiffs of sewage.

The property would have been perfect in every way…except the boiler was out and there was NO heat. We know that couldn’t be helped and the staff gave us plenty of extra blankets. But we could relax in the room with out getting in the bed and under covers. We will stay there again if the need arises.

The hotel needs updating.. the bathroom had strips hanging off the sink.. it felt old and musty. I was too tired to pack everything up and ask for a different room. They had no heat and said we could cancel for free and that they had sent an email offering free cancelation but we never got any email and we arrived at night so there was no time to try to find another hotel. The hotel should also put out signs that you need to walk around to the entrance. When we first pulled in, we couldn't tell where to check in.

The location was perfect for us as we enjoy quiet areas, and this spot was both peaceful and conveniently close to great restaurants. However, the facility is quite outdated and there were nails sticking out of the carpet, which was a safety concern. While the space was clean, the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. On a positive note, the staff were great and friendly, and parking was both convenient and free.

The staff was wonderful. The breakfast had way more options than I expected. However, there was no heat. The bed was hard on the outside and very uncomfortable with big dips and bumps in the mattress. The view, convenience to the city were great.

The place was ok. It was out dated even thought they look like they renovated it some time ago. It kind of felt more like a motel. One of our beds was not comfortable as it sank too much but it was one of the more affordable and the continental breakfast was good

We received a email from Expedia or from the hotel while we were taking off from Maui to San Diego and it said that the boiler was broken and that we should cancel. It gave a link to do this and I submitted the cancellation. When we got to San Diego, I checked and it was not canceled and I tried to contact Expedia, but only received the computer to talk to and was unable to do so Charge as there is no boiler to provide heat. Wound up staying at another Expedia hotel in San Diego with my wife’s credit card Lydia Brandes . I’ll try to contact you later today thank you.
