"Fantastic historical charm. My 6th floor corner room has 12 foot ceilings, deep crown molding, 4 enormous windows, dark solid wood furnishings and a whirlpool tub. Lounge downstairs looks like a gentleman's club: deep upholstery, dark corners, beautiful,well stocked bar. This place! It's a well preserved gem in a vibrant part of town."

"The staff were wonderful! I worked with 3 or 4 of the male staff members and they were all so kind and accommodating. Every time I entered and exited, I was warmly greeted. I called ahead to request an accommodation change and they went above and beyond to help. The room we stayed in was incredible with gorgeous views! For a “budget” hotel, I think this might have been one of the nicest stays I’ve ever had. The location is also perfect to get on the highway or be accessible to the local...
