"Best hotel in Riverhead, NY"

"We had a wonderful stay at Saybrook Point. The staff could not have been warmer or more welcoming. They quickly responded to and addressed a heating issue in the first room we were in and upgraded us to a beautiful room where the heating worked great. We enjoyed the steam room and dry sauna. The hot tub could have been hotter. Gerard was a standout team member. He was friendly and super helpful and made us great fires in our room every night. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed time in the Choo Choo lounge. We’ll be back!"

"Charming and historic hotel in Montauk. Drive on up or take a taxi from the train station as there are no real sidewalks in this area. The building is beautiful and in great condition thanks to years of care and maintenance. My ground-floor suite came with a kitchenette, living room, and private patio, though I did not make use of the patio as it was 20° in December when I visited. I recommend paying a visit to Monte’s, the hotel restaurant, which appears to be popular among locals and outside visitors alike. I was glad to use the express checkout in order to make an early departure. Overall I found the staff and management to be highly responsive and considerate and I enjoyed my stay here. "

"Only disappointment was the breakfast which now is not included . We decided to pay the 11$ Per person for breakfast as it was very good the last time we stayed even though it was free the last time. Everything was just barely warm. Oatmeal was watery . Bacon was like chewing leather. There was a nice variety of food but it was all not hot enough. The best part was the bread I put in the toaster! "
