"Property is old but clean. Faces the lake/sea, which is beautiful. During winter it is very quiet so makes the property which is also old, a little scary. Am sure it is different in spring and summer. There is a good little family run sushi and sashimi restaurant within 2 mins walk."

"We had a very pleasant stay for two days here. The staff were wonderfully friendly. The place itself is a bit dated, but has a certain Showa-Era charm. Personally I found the futons a bit thin. The breakfast buffet — mainly Japanese, but with a few western options — was very good. The only real drawback in the morning was the lack of coffee, which was not available in the rooms or at the buffet, only in the lobby lounge, and for an additional fee. We got dinners included, and no real complaints...
