"Stay was great as usual. Appreciate the non-slip mat in the shower. We brought our own non-slip bath mat in the event that you didn't provide one. If not, we place a bath towel in the tub to help us out. So, thank you! We LOVE staying at 24 South..... our fifth time. The lounge is great. Kudo's to Emily the bartender. Best Manhattans we've had in a public bar and she was fabulous. Had the wedge and pretzels from the kitchen. Kudo's as well. Love the atmosphere and the ambiance. Thank you for asking! "The hotel is very quiet, set away from the main road by itself. I got a room with a balcony and it was a great place to sit and watch the sun set over the blue ridge mountains. Beds are comfy, bathroom was clean and well-stocked with towels. Staff was super friendly and helpful. For dinner, my friend and I headed into Lexington (12 minute drive) where there are many nice little restaurants, and enjoyed browsing the art and craft galleries there the next day - what a pleasant surprise! This is my new favorite hotel on my route from Ohio to southern VA. if you're new here, take note that the breakfast room is far down a hall, past the pool (it took us a while to find it). Breakfast offerings looked nice, but we opted to eat in a coffeehouse in town instead. This is just a plain, nice little hotel, clean and quiet, just what we needed! Thank you, excellent staff!"
