"This is a lovely small family run hotel that is very Italian in its roots and pride. We enjoyed our stay very much. The building the hotel is housed in had offices and other residential facilities., which we did not expect! The hotel itself is quaint but well run. The breakfast is truly superb. We would recommend if you don’t want a big chain experience. "

"Once you got your head around the key system, it was easy, unless you are not good with tech, then you might have issues. Lovely clean, modern room, great facilities, view the street. Very comfy bed, and all requests were responded to very quickly. I asked for a warmer duvet and more coffee capsules for the kitchen. Duvet arrived and coffee capsules eventually, but it was not through lack of trying to help me. Would have liked to meet someone, but hey, modern times I guess. I would recommend...

"We got lucky and another person staying there let us inside so we could call for a check-in. Without them, who knows how long we'd be stuck outside. "Loved our stay here due to its convenience in Rome! You step out of the building and you are 30 seconds away from the liveliness of the Spanish Steps. I will say if you do decide to stay here make sure to understand how to get into the building prior to getting here. "Great little apt hotel in a residential area within a 20 min walking distance to St Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museum though the cobbled streets are prohibitive to walk in a wheelchair. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Breakfast is included on the upper floor and has a great view. Shower is tiny but has great water pressure. "

"I really enjoyed my stay at The Hive Hotel. It was in a great location, with pretty easy access to all of the major sights. Housekeeping did a great job of cleaning the room daily and providing fresh towels. Room was very comfortable and much appreciated after long days of sightseeing. "
