Breakfast is normally excellent but on Sunday choice was great but the hot food was only warm at 0845. No bar on Sunday evening. Constant hum with airco off. Fantastic decor, lovely staff and amazing lakeside location.

Location and common dining areas were good.Giving it an Average rating - could have been excellent f the hallway carpets did not look dated. Further when booking a cab - we were given some pushy drivers trying to charge us the same price as big lux car and actually driving us in a small car. Had to speak to reception again to sort it out. some Food ran out at breakfast with no refill for 30 minutes had leave and had a lovely little hair in the scrambled eggs - we joked it was Vitamin H. Did not bother showing it to the staff - what would they do besides apologise.

In my opinion this is not a true 5 star hotel., 4 star is more appropriate for it. The rooms are average, the breakfast is nice. There is a spa in the hotel, but it's not included and it's only an Extra. Description says free parking- they mean you should look for a parking near the hotel. The hotel has no designated parking. The shower in the tub is not holding itself in place, you have to hold it. Everyday had to go back to reception to get the key card coded again. Many small things are not working properly!!! This is why they don't deserve to be 5 star hotel.

My Review
Despite its 5-star rating, my recent stay at Hotel Martin Chatou left much to be desired, aligning more closely with what one might expect from a 3-star establishment. Service: The service at Hotel Martin Chatou unfortunately did not meet the high standards one would anticipate from a hotel of its purported caliber. Interactions often felt lackluster, lacking the attentiveness and detail-oriented approach synonymous with luxury accommodations. Breakfast: The breakfast offering was another area where the hotel did not live up to expectations. The variety and quality of food did not reflect the 5-star experience, with options feeling limited and somewhat uninspired. Room Quality: The room itself, while adequately furnished, fell short of the comfort and luxury one looks forward to in such a reputed hotel. The aesthetic and amenities provided did not match up to the usual 5-star room experience, with elements of wear and a need for refreshment apparent. Comfort and Cleanliness: On the front of comfort and cleanliness, there again was room for improvement. The overall cleanliness did not reach the meticulous standard expected, and the comfort level of the lodging experience was underwhelming. This detracted from the overall sense of luxury and relaxation that should define a stay at a hotel of this standing. In conclusion, while Hotel Martin Chatou boasts a 5-star rating, my experience suggests that the services, amenities, and overall guest experience align more to 3 star

Je n’est pas du tout apprécié mon séjour. De base j’avais réservé cette hôtel spécialement pour le SPA la piscine et autre service liée proposé. Sauf que à mon arrivé à l’hôtel je demande pour aller à la piscine et le personnel m’indique que c’est déjà fermer alors qu’il était 18h et en plus que je devrais payer 35€ par personne pour pouvoir y accéder alors que dans ma réservation il n’était indiqué nul part que je devrais payer un supplément pour accéder à c’est service. Donc le lendemain à mon réveil j’appel le SPA à l’ouverture pour quand même réservé malgré tout c’est désagrément rencontré. Le personnel m’indique que le SPA et complet et que la piscine également. Donc nous avons fait de la route spécialement pour c’est service et au final on s’est retrouver enfermée dans notre chambre pendants notre séjours.

de heer Laffut doet zijn naam eer aan; 'laf'
De service van de baliemedewerkers/receptie was prima, maar de manager Cédric Laffut is ronduit onbehoorlijk. Zijn reactie na de ontvreemding van een nieuwe en dure fles parfum was stuitend, onvriendelijk en zeer onbehulpzaam. Gemiddeld verblijf ik per jaar in 50 verschillende hotels over de hele wereld, maar deze onprofessionele en onvriendelijke behandeling heb ik nog niet eerder meegemaakt.
