Rhyl is a popular family holiday destination and the town and beach facilities reflect this. There is plenty of holiday accommodation of all sorts, so after a day paddling and making sandcastles, it need only be a short walk to your chosen place to stay.

As well as the natural amenities of sea and sand, Rhyl Beach provides activities for all, no matter what the weather is doing. There is a train along the promenade, a fun fair, a bowling green, crazy golf and donkey rides. There are cafés and ice-cream kiosks galore.

If you like to look at sea life there is a SeaQuarium, or if you prefer to catch it, there are fishing trips from the harbour. For lake fishing, Bodelwyddan is only five miles from Rhyl Beach.

The lifeboat station is open to visitors during the summer months and here you can find out all about the services of the RNLI.

Tennis, windsurfing, sailing, cycling, walking the coast paths — you can do it all from Rhyl Beach.

If you simply want to relax, you can always hire a deckchair!
