"Old venerable hotel in the heart of York City, this spot has hosted many entertainment luminaries. Roof top bar and ballroom are both lovely as is the lobby bar for a quick meal."

"We had a great stay. The ambiance was wonderful. Service was great! One thing, the walls were thin and we had a party nearby. I did call the receptionist, and she got right on the problem."

"My husband and I got a day and night away from our teenagers for the first time in years. This hotel was fantastic! The lobby is fancy and beautiful. The large gathering room was our view from our window, which was nice. There was an event happening in the evening but it wasn't loud. The bed was comfortable and clean. The room was spacious. The jacuzzi tub in the room worked nicely. Everything in the room was extremely clean. We didn't use the pool this stay, but we have in the past and it's clean and huge. The people at the reception desk were pleasant and helpful. The only complaint was that we couldn't get the temperature of the room down to a very comfortable level. It was one of those warm November days and this was an interior room, so I can understand. Overall, I highly recommend!"
