"Our room was clean, our bed was comfortable but we were on the ground floor and it was very noisy as it’s the way in and out of the hotel. It is in a great position for walking around the old town. Breakfast was ok, eggs, toast, pancakes and fruit in the roof top restaurant with lovely view of the fort. Wi-fi wasn’t great kept dropping out. "This is a characterful place to stay rather than an anonymous chain hotel. We stayed in a luxury room which was large and quiet. We ate there every night as the food was good and the view amazing. There were other restaurants within a short walk but it was nice not to have to walk out again after our busy days. Things to note Doors were low to rooms and en suites, my husband kept banging his head! There are also steep stairs and no lift so if you aren’t good on your feet it could be an issue....

"Great location to get anywhere in old town but still very quiet. Staff were super helpful and always available. Room was good, not fancy but clean and worth the price. I loved that you were welcome to sit on the rooftop for as long as you liked, moving from shade to shade with city sounds and an amazing view. Tip.
