"We have stayed at this Days Inn before. They are well apportioned with a nice pool, whirlpool and a rarity for Days Inn, a sauna. They have a very basic breakfast but it was ok for us and the hotel is very convenient to the ski areas in Michigan. Though it is certainly not a 5 star hotel, we had excellent service and would stay here again. A big perk was the Snap Fitness access as we love to work out!"

"The property is in great condition and in a convenient location. The management did a nice job updating while retaining the vintage charm. 1950s motels are an endangered species as mass produced value chain hotels replace them. The outside retains the historic signage and neon accent lighting. Nice parking lot with many outlets for block heaters or EVs. Inside you are greeted with an immaculately cleaned room, comfortable bed and sofa, wet bar/kitchen area with mini fridge, microwave, and sink. The room temperature was very comfortable and adjustable. It is radiant heat so there is no blower noise to keep you up at night. The room has fresh paint and carpet. The original acoustic ceiling, light fixtures, blonde wood, and paneling add a nice charm. The bathroom has the mid century modern Kohler fixtures complementing the blue sink, tub, and toilet. Shower has great pressure and super hot water. "

"Resort is couple blocks from Ski lift. Easy drive. Room's small but nicely renovated. Likes hot tub, couple restaurants and bars on facility. "

"Although it was a brief stay, everything about the room was in good working order. I was surprised it was not busier for a Saturday night but most likely not the ideal time to be touring for most people prior to the snow-sports and after fall colors. The property was easy to find and I appreciated a simple key versus electronic swipe cards so I could leave door unlocked for loading/unloading. I would definitely not hesitate to rent another room here next time I find myself in the area, reasonable rates!"
