The only other negative is while the beds were roomy enough for the five of us, the lack of a seating area and table made it messy to carry out and eat food in the room. "We loved it! The host was so nice. Our room was amazing. It was clean, comfortable and really pretty. In our room there was a private bathroom. The view from our room was also breathtaking! Breakfast was good and there were many options. We didn't have a car but it was okay. Tom the taxi driver was very helpful and drove us to Oughterard and back where we could hop on a bus! If you don't have a car please plan your trip carefully. This guesthouse was definitely worth visiting! We recommend it....

"The entire house is disgustingly dirty. Very unsafe too. Few of windows have cracks, no ventilation, many windows have no openings. Bathroom door was held by screws which were loose, we had to tightened it in case fall down onto one of kids. Mattress we slept on was stained and yellow.. Location isn’t great either. For five nights stay we paid €2600. We never had such horrendous experience."

"We upgraded our room, so it was fantastic. The courtesy car driver was absolutely great! I think the hotel could work on its housekeeping…you don’t get refills of anything, creamers for coffee, salts for the bath, or even toilet paper. I would stay there again, but breakfasts need to improve."
