"Very nice…wish there was a small convenience store closer"

"The beach is the absolute star of the show. Love the different pools and landscaping throughout the property. Some areas need a little repair with some walkways with missing or crumbled stones. The pools were open until 10pm which was so nice but towels were not available poolside after 5pm. You had to go upstairs to the valet which was odd and inconvenient. I noticed that used glasses and debris were left in sitting areas, lobby, walkways, for lengthy amounts of time. The room itself was well situated, had a nice view, and a beautiful large bathroom. The room was very clean and housekeeping services were excellent although the room decor could use an update. The biggest asset of this resort is the staff. In all areas we found the staff to be helpful, courteous, and enjoyable. A special mention to the front desk, Carolina, she was super. Shopping is a short walk from the resort."

"Great location and great people. This is not a 5-star resort, but it is in a 5-star location and is clean and grounds are beautifully maintained. Definitely an older resort that they have upgraded. Pool is small but great for young kids to play. We spend our days at the beach so we love it and will be back to Outrigger. "

"Everything you needed is there on the property. The only thing I wish they had was a shuttle bus. Unless you have transportation, you have to take a taxi. Other than that the concierge the staff were great. I did miss having Poi at the luau. "

"This could be a lean to and I’d still say it’s the greatest. This is BLACKROCK! It’s sacred and it’s awesome! Property is huge and has all manors of lodging. They have classic Hawaiian dishes and performances. Best part, it’s on Kaanapali beach. With waves as high 15feet sometimes coming in. Sometimes, it’s only a foot. Whichever, doesn’t matter, because it’s one of the greatest beaches in the world. Shopping within walking distance. Food within walking distance. Whales within walking distance. Cmon. That’s funny. Always great staff. Always fast check in. Always accommodating. "
