The coffee shop was closed most of the time. No coffee in rooms… there was instant coffe in the room For a charge of 14$ but no cups or kettle! The bathroom is tiny. There’s absolutely no storage anywhere in the room. The door to the stairs slams so hard if you’re near it you hear it loudly inside your room at 0600 to 11 pm allll the time!

room was not properly cleaned, service was odd (we requested water three times and only got it on the fourth try), breakfast bar was closed without warning. Note also that parking is very pricey, there is no hotel discount, and the windows are not soundproof

I like staying at the Dean, it is close to the convention center. It’s an old and quirky hotel with a beautiful speakeasy and boutique rooms. Make sure to pay the meter.

My stay at The Dean was great !! Super cool boutique property with an old school elevator and cool art throughout. Loved that they had a coffee bar in the morning. Didn’t get to check them out but also liked that they had two bars connected to the property. Everything is very walkable from The Dean and parking right next door on property and also a garage directly next to the building.

This is an excellent little boutique hotel. Not a lot of amenities, but the rooms are clean, neat and stylish in a comfy and classic way. They do have a small lobby with a coffee bar that is convenient. Very walkable area close to restaurants and coffee shops. A good selection for the price.

The Dean is lovely! Clean, beautiful, friendly staff, lovely rooms. They are tiny (though the bathroom is a fantastic size) but for one person the accommodation are perfect. The elevator is tiny and old, but quick and adds to the charm.

Little misleading when it says “welcomes all pets”. Thankfully, they were able to accommodate our cat. Their pereference is mainly dogs for anyone’s knowledge. Still, an unbelievable ambience to the place and a super fun stay

The room was fine, nothing special. It was very clean. There was coffee and a roll in the morning behind the checkin desk, but it wasn’t free. No coffee pot in the room. The elevator was old. You have to open 2 heavy doors, the way elevator operators did in the day. The parking lot next door was $38 per night. There was also a parking garage next to that. We stayed one night to see a play. It is walkable to many restaurants and the performing arts center. The hotel price was reasonable.
