"Hotel Edgewater was a great place to stay right across from Resurrection Bay. We had a room with a view of the bay. We were able to walk across the street one night to watch the Aurora over the bay and mountains. The manager and employees were super nice and helpful. I highly recommend Hotel Edgewater!!"

"I know a lot of the reviews have been negative but this lodge is just a simple, comfortable motel. The rooms haven’t been renovated so they’re a little run down but almost everything was spotless and the linens were clean. I’d say just some of the corners were a bit dusty and there were some hard water stains in the sink. The mattresses are a little saggy but were still decently comfortable. "Great location. Hotel is an interesting place, if a little dated. Beds were comfortable, but the rooms could have been cleaner. We found a pubic hair on one of the beds and had an unexpected roommate (centipede). Aside from that, the location was great and the staff was excellent - very attentive.
