"Had an amazing stay as a couple at Tivoli resort for a two day break en route to a wedding in Praia de forte. The room was incredibly comfortable, good AC and we had a convenient location to the beach, pools and restaurants. The internet was the only thing that was not good - even in our room - it was a little hard to be connected. the service was great across the board. Worth noting that the main food location was a buffet - but was delicious, particularly breakfast. We only ate dinner one...

"Location is good in the posh resort of Praia do Forte, close to Salvador de Bahia. Staff was generally friendly and breakfast was above average (Brazilian are demanding about their breakfast...). However the overall condition of the hotel facilities would, at most, qualify it for 3 stars. The price was, however, similar to the Sheraton Bahia Hotel where I stayed right after leaving Praia do Forte, hugely overpriced."
