The Bykenhulle House Bed & Breakfast was a dream come true. We have never stayed in a B & B before, so this Greek Revival home set the bar high. We were we greeted warmly by delightful, friendly Innkeeper Maria, who gave us a tour and showed us to our room. The house, with its abundance of amazing antiques, our 4 poster bedroom & property were all beautiful! Everything was clean, with up to date amenities while retaining that Old World feeling. This house has been well cared for by its owner and his staff. The owner, Bill, actually lives in the home and he enjoys chatting with guests. We found him charming and a delightful conversationalist!
The breakfast was delicious and we were seated with the other ten guests (who came from California, Texas, Iowa, South Carolina and New Jersey) at a beautiful table in the dining room. Bill joined us and we chatted, laughed and enjoyed Maria’s yummy quiche and other goodies. It felt a world away from home, yet it felt just like home. It doesn’t get any better than that..
We will definitely return to Bykenhulle House again,
