「Gorgeous property with friendly staff. Beautiful room with comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay even though we were placed in the adjacent building without elevator (carrying our heavy luggage upstairs was a pain). The restaurant is wonderful, but the spa was closed during our stay, bummer! Check the schedule if planning on using the spa」

「We stayed 3 nights. The location is about a 17 minute walk from the bus station. Take Pearse Street, there is less of an incline. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean with plenty of shelf space, nice towels and spacious shower area. The drain was a little sluggish but it did work. We liked the big windows as they made the room more airy & bright. If you keep the windows closed at night, it reduces the traffic noise. The on-site restaurant was also good. 「I’ve stayed here a few times and the hotel itself is lovely, but on this occasion my room stank of cigarette smoke for 3 days straight, couldn’t get away from the smell, as an asthmatic I wasn’t happy the hotel let this happen 」

「Beautiful cottage, we were here during Darragh but it was warm and comfortable . Only thing I would say is if you don’t know how to light a peat fire research it , lol we had Donagle family to show us the way. But it was wonderful staying here, you can’t go wrong especially if you have a large group with all the bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again 」

「This is a beautiful hotel and setting, very clean and comfortable, there is a restaurant & bar attached to it but only opens from 5pm, there is no breakfast facilities however there is tea & coffee in the room. Nearby cafe that do excellent breakfast and food. The only downside is that we had an issue with no hot water or heating on the last evening & day so a very cold shower on the day of checking out. 「Very warm and friendly welcome. Check in was very easy. Room was very clean, comfortable, and warm. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was very, very good - highly recommend their fish dishes. This is a gem of a hotel and we will definitely stay here again. Very convenient to Donegal airport (Carrickfinn). Compliments to all the staff members we interacted with - very professional and friendly.」

「Beautiful location with direct beach access. Could do with some TLC around the property along with more kitchen utensils, mugs, pans etc. Could only find a couple of towels for 8 people, fortunately we had taken a few with us.」
