"Loved the atmosphere of the hotel and rooms. All the staff were very friendly and eager to assist in whatever was needed. Rooms were cozy and spacious, however the lighting was problematic. There were 3 lamps, but no light in the main area of the room which made it difficult to see without using a flashlight. Overall, we were happy with the stay, and would consider it again for our future travels. "

"The cleanliness of the priperty was outstanding. Their housekeeping services are truly phenomenal! The room was decorated beautifully, the fireplace was so cozy to sit by and the room was spacious for the 2 of us. The size of the bathroom was great with a nice, large jacuzzi tub, separate shower and double vanity! Truly, for us, the only downfall of the hotel was the noise from other rooms. We could hear when another tub was being turned on, voices(not clear enough to actually hear...

"My wife and I decided to spend our 23rd wedding anniversary in Galena. We haven’t been to the area since middle school for field trips/school ski trips etc. we live about 2.5 hours away so it was a nice scenic drive. We booked a cottage at the LeFevre resort and it did not disappoint. Everything was exactly as described.
