"This is an exellent property, clean and qwll equiped with good walking access to pubs/restaurant. Quiet location with a freindly owner and good access to the mountain area's( im a climber/hiker. "

"Lovely, quiet, relaxing stay. Very clean. Property has a high quality finish. Has free Wi-Fi, very useful for Wi-Fi calling / messages etc as some mobile carriers may not get a good signal in area. HDMI cables etc provided to connect for example an Apple TV box to watch on demand tv channels. Loved the snug for reading books and enjoying the view."

"We had an amazing time at Little Danescroft. The cottage was clean and cozy. The view was magnificent. Exactly what we were looking look. Helen the host was so kind. "

"Delightfully quiet and peaceful traditional stone cottage. We had five nights here and were lucky to enjoy great, warm weather, The cottage has electric heating (we didn't need it) and logs for the fireplace (again, not needed during our stay). There's a supermarket a few miles away in Blairgowrie and a nice hotel/restaurant 2 miles away in Meikloeur. This was a great base for exploring forests, waterfalls, lochs and towns & villages around Perth."

"All facilities were available for our needs. unfortunately the springs in the mattress were broken and there were several lumps which we were laying on which resulted in myself getting a sore back. The sofa bed needed cleaning as was very stained. On entering the apartment the floor was very uneven whilst walking on it because the whole apartment seemed as it was subsiding."

"Cottage was perfect for our peaceful break away in a beautiful location. Easy booking and communication with owners was stress free. Facilities and parking were great. The cottage had everything needed and was clean and very comfortable. Ideal location for nice walks and seeing the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend and use again. Thanks. "

"Loved the villa, 3 negatives, the villa could do with some vacuuming, dog hair everywhere, there’s not enough cooking pot and pans( a small frying pan and small pot) and check in at 5pm(too late!)."

Lovely stay

"Had a lovely stay with my partner and our dog. The scenic view room was massive and worth paying the extra for. The breakfast buffet was good with all needs catered for. The hotel is extremely dog friendly with dogs being allowed in the bar area. The singer for entertainment was also very good. Only negative is some of the building is looking a little run down but there were signs of maintenance taking place e.g. painting. We loved our stay and would return. "

Turret suite

"Really enjoyed our two-night stay in one of the turret suites. The hotel was still beautifully decorated for Christmas but very peaceful being a few days after Hogmanay. Overall condition of the building is excellent, especially given its age and historic nature, which must make it a real challenge to maintain. Our room, bathroom and the turret lounge above were very clean and well presented. Excellent comfy super-king bed. Public rooms were lovely - warm and welcoming. Swimming pool area was very clean and a pleasure to use."

"Lovely hosts, that greeted us very well on check-in and had lots of recommendations on where to go and what to see. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast in the morning set us up for the day. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Pitlochry! "

"I like that the owner of the hotel is working front desk along with his staff and overseeing hotel operations personally. The property is recently built so everything is brand new. The rooms are comfortable and have all necessary basics. The breakfast was included and had a good variety of choices. Location is also perfect. It’s right at the beginning of the main road, walking distance to the town restaurants and shops. "
