"310Guest-House LaVida in Old San Juan is an older building (like ALL of Old San Juan) and, as such, is not well insulated for sound from the often-busy street below. We had a balcony unit so two large doors lead outside to a small balcony. Two windows (above the balcony doors with no curtain or shade) let you know when it's daytime. "This is a small European like hotel in old San Juan. The hotel is very calm and quiet, with no kids allowed. The staff are very friendly and helpfu. You have to remember there is no elevator, and the rooms are small by US standards. We had an interior room with no windows. They do not serve food, but there are tons of restaurants very close to the hotel. Did I mention the open bar?"

"We are frequent visitors to the island and this was our first time to stay with Hugo’s. The property was amazing! Everything was super clean and welcoming. Our unit was the studio on the top floor so it was a bit of a trek up all the stairs with our luggage, but well worth it once we settled in! Everything was very quiet - no noise even being next to the plaza and multiple shops and restaurants. The property was very prompt and responsive with check in detail and answering a few questions for us. The location is wonderful especially if you are being dropped off by uber or taxi. Walkability in OSJ is fantastic. We enjoyed it so much we changed our August accommodations to here! Thank you again! "

"CasaBlana Hotel is incredibly unique. The decor inside is eclectic and impressive. I enjoy the variety of lighting, tile, art, and seating arrangement. The rooftop areas are lovely and provide a great outdoor space to relax. The room overall seemed a little worn, but acceptable. I loved the CasaBlanca Hotel and would absolutely recommend it to anyone. I hope to return!"

Embassy Suites by Hilton Dorado del Mar Beach Resort

"This resort was beautiful. There was a gorgeous gazebo and pond area in the lobby. The pool was amazing. There were several restaurants on site to choose from. The resort is located in a gated area so it was very safe. The room was average. I do wish there would have been more printed information in the room. We had no pool and beach hours, no restaurant list, no menus. I was able to get a map from the front desk which was helpful. Overall it was a great stay."
