"This property definitely needs some work. There was no furniture in my room except for a fridge and a bed. None of the usual amenities I would expect at a motel were present, for instance, hangers for the closet, an iron for wrinkled clothes or curtains to block the bright sign blasting light through the window at night covered only by what looks to be plastic used to protect the windows from stray paint. "Spent a week at the Rose & Crown and had a great experience! Rooms were immaculate and comfortable. Simple accommodations but quite adequate for a long, quiet, stay. Hotel associates were friendly, kind, and attentive. Just enough parking for the hotel size. Safe neighborhood and parking area with lights that come on as you get close to the back door. Great location! We have family in the Glendale area and found the location to be close to them and central to most activities in the area....

"Stay was nice , just a little noisy in the early morning! The motel is helping families by giving them a place to stay for those whom lost their homes ! So we dealt with the family with kids and all their noise.. but overall we had a pleasant stay ! "
