"Check in was a breeze and they let us swap rooms to a corner room that had the most spectacular view. This was amazing and all of the staff there were incredible and amazing. I will definitely stay there again when I visit Chicago in the future. "

"The hotel was fantastic. The surrounding area is quiet and semi-secluded. Just what we wanted. The room was clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. We were pleased the bathroom had complimentary toiletries. Everything seemed great until we turned on the air conditioning. It didn't work. This week was a hot one too. In the 80's F. We called the first night and i was told they wouldn't have a maintenance person until tomorrow morning. When ibasked if we could switch rooms, I was told the only ones available would be a downgrade. So we stayed and slept with the patio open. We were promised a technician would work on it first thing the next day. The next day came, and we told the front desk, the air conditioning technician was welcome to come fix it after we left for breakfast. So when we came back later that day hoping to take a nap in a cooled of room, it was STILL HOT!! I called the front desk again demanding to knkw why our air conditioning unit wasnt fixed. The hotel had no answer as to why. They seemed surprised even. I demanded they have a technician in the room to fix it in the next 30 minutes or they NEED to upgrade us to a suite. Ten minutes later we get a knock on the door and its the technician. He introduces himself and apologizes for the "miscommunication". About ten minutes later, he has the air conditioner up and running. He then packs up his tools and apologizes one more time before leaving. Thats my ony issue I had."

"It was a place to sleep, no amenities and breakfast was not much. They did have the waffle machine so my husband was pleased. Comfortable bed, though not a mid or upper spend. It served our needs for the time needed. "

"Front desk was great. Room was a little on the small side but there was just 2 of us and we only stayed 2 days so it was fine. I would recommend this if you’re doing anything at wintrust arena! We were able to walk there in about 15 min"
