The units are nice - we got placed next in a room next to an elevator shaft which kept making very loud and ominous noises every time it was used (so, every few minutes) but the reception staff were accommodating and allowed us to switch rooms to another available unit. "Very nice, low key, good maintained landscape old hotel with free parking, pool, ohana room and BBQ and laundry facilities. Our room got a little view of Napili bay, good size balcony, cool AC, Freezer and fridge and full kitchen. Bed mattress is firm. Dont use the pull out sofa so no comment. Provided 2 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas which are very valuable. Short walk to the beautiful beach. lei making class on Tuesday morning. Front desk only 8-4 week days. Good price for the location"

"The view was beautiful from the balcony as it was right on the beach. Unit was very clean and had everything you needed for an enjoyable vacation. The king bed was comfortable and it is always nice to have a washer & dryer. The one recommendation I would make would be to upgrade the living room furniture as it is very uncomfortable and outdated. "

"Liked the beach. Liked the boardwalk for walking. Liked the policy re lounge chairs and their enforcement of the policy. Restaurant options were limited. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Auntie's Kitchen was rather mediocre. Duke's nearby was better. Would have like to know beforehand that units have washer/dryer as we would have packed less. "

"They have a large swimming pool. It is right on the beach. They have 2 sections, we were in the B side, it was perfect as the sun didn’t hit the balcony. Our condo wasn’t clean when we arrived - the floor was dirty. I would stay there again"

"The property and Maui did not disappoint! We received a $100/day resort credit that made you feel like you were getting a little something extra. Our room was right on the ocean and the housekeeping staff was spot on. The beach, property, everything fit us perfectly. Highly recommend. Many from surrounding properties came by and camped out just for our views and the sunset at Black Rock. "
