"Wonderful, cozy, rustic cabin in a beautiful environment with adequate wood to enjoy the wood stove and a well-equipped kitchen. Could use some comfortable chairs for sitting by the wood stove (we brought in the ones from outside) and pads on the legs of the heavy, metal bar stools to prevent unpleasant sounds when they’re moved. A little more cleaning in the corners and tops of logs would improve the cleanliness score, but really a great place to stay! We especially enjoyed all of the staff!"

"We loved this little hotel! It was built in the 40’s and still has that vintage charm but rooms have been updated and were super cute. Bed was comfy… the blackout curtain worked well.. but I wish we could have turned the outdoor light off some light peeked through.. I’m super sensitive though. The patio and big outdoor space right out your back door was terrific with littles!! Nice open grassy place to run around and Picnic, play games. Great beach access too. And there was a fire pit to enjoy....

"We really liked the property. It's close to everything(Forks is pretty small so everything is close to everything, but we liked this location.) Front desk staff was really nice and friendly. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The only thing I didn't like was on the day of checkout housekeeping started knocking on our door an hour and a half before checkout and on multiple occasions. "When we first checked in our room had a skunk scent to it. I spoke with the manager on duty and he said that the property next door had a skunk issue under their garbage bin, and the smell had spread. They quickly moved us to another room that smelled great. "We had a nice time at the Fireside and the location is perfect. The room is updated and includes a coffee maker, pet covers for the bed, outdoor chairs etc. The view from the room is spectacular and my pup loved it. We had a great time chatting with other guests as well. The only unpleasant moment was the woman who checked us in, who gave us more of a lecture than a welcome. "Beautiful view. Easy access to the beach. Pet free room for those of us with allergies. We loved our room and wished we were staying long enough to use the amenities. Check in/out service was quick and friendly. They offered board games and dvds for us to use, as well as a list of close by restaurants. The only thing that made us sad was the fireplace wasn’t functional, but just for show. Note* We requested a top floor with balcony for the view. "
