"Staff was very attentive, friendly and provided quick service. Hostel had amenities such as outdoor courtyard, ping pong table, mini computer lab and outdoor seats with free breakfast cooked by one of the staff members. Convenient location as it is within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and bars. Only downside was showers didn’t dispense water well and need a little maintenance and renovation. Overall a good experience. "

"Every single person on staff at Ibarra 14 was outstanding and made our trip so memorable. The historical building, the architecture and interior decorating was superb. The menu and food was outstanding. Secure parking was also a huge plus and we feel the location one half block from the town square could not be better with walking distance to everything centro Patzcuaro has to offer. We can't wait for our next visit!"

"Low key, no frills hostel in PV. Not the most social hostel I have stayed at. But I did travel at a quiet time. Nice to have your own pod for your bed with a curtain and walls for each bed. "Loved being so close to la punta without being right in the noise of it. All the coolest hippie spots within a short walk and about 15 minutes to La Punta playa. First of all the microbús from Oaxaca Zicatela stop is so close so that was nice at night to just walk up no taxi or camión required. Check in was so easy they asked when I would arrive and were waiting for me since there’s no reception desk. But whenever I messaged through the app they responded right away. AC felt great. Wifi worked...
